Every year the Broadway League does its best to celebrate all the wonderful kids that perform every night on the Great White Way.

This was the 20th year of the event called "Kids Night on Broadway." The event was held at Sardis to give all of the 50 or so kids a chance to enjoy each other and have some fun on "their" night.

Kids Night was part of Broadway's Kids Week where families could purchase one regular price ticket and get one free ticket for a child along with it.  Broadway is doing this to try and get more of the younger generation involved with Broadway and it seems to work very nicely.

On Feb 9th when this event took place the Broadway shows also provided the kids that came to see the shows additional parking discounts, in-theater activities, activity books and talkbacks.

Participating shows include Aladdin, Allegiance, An American in Paris, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, Chicago the Musical, The Color Purple, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Disaster!, Fiddler on the Roof, Finding Neverland, Fun Home, Jersey Boys, The King and I, Kinky Boots, The Lion King, Les Misérables, Matilda The Musical, Noises Off, On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan, The Phantom of the Opera, School of Rock, Something Rotten! and Wicked.
